CERAMITE® Wear Resistant Ceramics
Ceramite® is a range of advanced ceramic products incorporating inorganic composite materials and densely packed particles, especially formulated to give superior performance in applications where wear resistance is a crucial concern. Ceramite® has been shown through extensive testing, both in laboratories and in industrial applications, to be able to replace traditional wear resistant materials in higher temperature applications (2200°F) and thermal shock conditions. As a state of the art thermal wear (abrasion) resistant material, Ceramite® can outperform special steels, cast fused basalt, metal castings, or rubber materials.
Ceramite® is available in, both, trowelable and castable formulae.
Ceramite® T, for "in-situ" repairs and Ceramite® BKR, for casting a wide
range of precise shapes.
